Ethiopia signs health reform agreement with Indian company

Defense Minister Aisha Mohammed announced a comprehensive reform to boost military combat readiness through technology-enabled health services. The agreement was signed with an Indian company.

The Defense Ministry signed an agreement with Padayat Health Service Group, an Indian company. The deal implements a Council of Ministers decision to restructure the Defense Specialized Referral Hospital into a health group.

Aisha Mohammed stated that the agreement will advance medical infrastructure, technology, and knowledge transfer. This will improve health services from front lines to the referral hospital.

Health Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba said the agreement fulfills the government's promise to deliver quality services to the public. Indian Ambassador Anil Kumar Rai noted the growing comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
