Nathalie Holscher performs Umrah during Ramadan with her son

Nathalie Holscher, Sule's former wife, has arrived in Mecca to perform Umrah during this year's Ramadan, bringing her only son, four-year-old Adzam. This spiritual journey is a long-held dream of Nathalie's, which also includes her long-time employees. She obtained permission from Sule, who shared supportive messages for Adzam.

Nathalie Holscher's journey to the Holy Land during Ramadan 2026 has captured public attention. The former wife of comedian Sule performed Umrah with her four-year-old son Adzam and several long-time employees. This marks Adzam's first religious experience in the sacred city of Mecca.

Nathalie revealed that this Umrah is a personal dream she has held for a long time. She was reluctant to go alone and chose to travel with her close ones. "But the challenge is, I don't want to do Umrah alone. I want to bring my child, and my employees who've worked with me for a long time. So, let's all go together," she said in a YouTube video on March 5, 2026.

In Mecca, Nathalie offered personal prayers for forgiveness of sins. "May my sins be erased like that. Many sins, because I have many sins too. The rest is private," she stated. The most touching moment was her first Subuh prayer in front of the Ka'bah, where she nearly cried from emotion. "I was nervous during the prayer, the Subuh prayer, like I was about to cry. It felt like, oh God, so sad. The sadness was from being so moved that I finally did Umrah," she explained.

Before departing, Nathalie communicated with Sule to get permission, maintaining a good relationship for Adzam's sake. "Yes (permission), of course. Yes, wait for it on my YouTube. 'Adzam mabrur, mabrur, mabrur,' that's what he said. That's all his message (Sule)," Nathalie said. Sule also asked about Adzam's prayer, to which the child innocently replied, "Ya Allah, love Daddy. Ya Allah, love Daddy." Additionally, Sule advised not to force Adzam to fast. "If he (Adzam) wants to eat, just let him eat. Don't force it too much," Nathalie quoted. Sule confirmed his gradual approach to teaching his children about religion.
