Prime Minister Abiy calls for priority on national interest

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited a coal factory in Gamo Zone and stressed the need to prioritize national common interest over personal gain.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited the Yo Holding coal factory in Gamo Zone today.

He noted that about 5 billion dollars worth of substitute products were produced domestically in the current budget year alone. Since the end of last year four coal production factories have been completed and entered operation.

Additional factories are scheduled to start operations soon he said opening opportunities to export coal products. The coal products have no quality issues he added.
