Wooyoungmi unveils joyful Spring 2027 Menswear collection

Designer Madam Woo drew on themes of freedom and optimism for her latest menswear line, responding to global events with a focus on lightness and wearability.

The collection emphasized cheerful colors including mint green, dusty pink and pale yellow. Wide peak-lapel jackets appeared alongside argyle knits, retro paisley ties and stone necklaces.

Avian motifs featured prominently through feather trims on robes and cuffs. Sheer polyester-viscose shirts were creased and dyed to evoke plumage, while a silk shirt displayed traditional Korean Minhwa crane prints.

Outerwear ranged from faded chore coats and cropped track jackets to worn leathers. The looks were paired with brogues, striped bags and Bermuda shorts for a polished yet innocent effect.

An interpreter quoted Madam Woo during the preview, noting she aimed to push joy with lightness and imagined herself as a borderless voyager. She stressed the need to create clothing men can wear in the present.
