Season 5 picks up after the Goldilocks asteroid heist, with the Happy Valley base on Mars now a thriving colony of thousands serving as a hub for missions deeper into the solar system. However, tensions rise as Earth nations impose law and order on the Red Planet, straining relations between Martian residents and their home world.
A 30-second teaser trailer introduces Sean Kaufman as the grown-up Alex, son of Kelly Baldwin and Alexei Poletov, previously played by Ezrah Lin as an 8-year-old.
