Barbie's Cradle returns with new music after two decades

Barbie’s Cradle has released new music and scheduled a reunion concert more than 20 years after their last album.

The band, consisting of Barbie Almalbis on vocals, Kakoy Legaspi on guitars, Rommel dela Cruz on bass, and Wendell Garcia on drums, was active in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

They previously released three albums: Barbie’s Cradle in 1999, Music from the Buffet Table in 2000, and Playing in the Fields in 2003.

In an interview published on June 27, 2026, the members discussed their return, personal growth over the years, and the new releases marking their comeback.
