Bassbaba Sumon updates fans on Aurthohin's upcoming album

Renowned Bangladeshi rock band Aurthohin is preparing to release its eighth album, titled Phoenixer Diary -1. Bassbaba Sumon, the band's frontman, shared details of the intense recording process on his Facebook page. He described the recent efforts as a rollercoaster ride amid excitement for the project.

Aurthohin, a prominent rock band, has been working diligently on its latest release, Phoenixer Diary -1, marking the group's eighth album. Bassbaba Sumon posted an update on his official Facebook account on Sunday, detailing the challenges and enthusiasm surrounding the production.

Sumon recounted a hectic week where he barely slept more than four hours each night in his own bed. The team engaged in brainstorming, planning, strategizing, and execution, often restarting from scratch when issues arose. "My body and mind felt like it was going through a rollercoaster ride. However, I didn't feel annoyed, as I was working on something really special—Aurthohin's eight album," Sumon wrote.

He noted that such intensity is typical during Aurthohin album preparations, with band members overwhelmed by excitement. Two nights before the post, bandmate Mark woke Sumon at 5:30 a.m. to push forward, completing half the album in the session. As other members Shishir and Mahaan had already left for home, Sumon and Mark marked the milestone with two cups of black coffee.

The band plans to return to the studio next month to wrap up recording within 10 to 15 days. Sumon referenced his announcement from last year about releasing the eighth album in 2022, expressing commitment to meeting expectations. "Inshallah! I don't plan on disappointing anyone. The details of the album will be announced soon from Aurthohin's page," he concluded.

A subheader in the coverage mentions Aurthohin announcing two new albums, though the post focuses primarily on Phoenixer Diary -1.
