Blackpink has revealed plans for their third mini album, 'Deadline,' set for release on February 27, 2026, via YG Entertainment. The project follows their 2022 full-length album Born Pink and coincides with the ongoing world tour of the same name. It is expected to feature the group's 2025 comeback single 'Jump.'
Blackpink, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, announced their third mini album, 'Deadline,' on January 15, 2026, through a teaser video on social media. The album will arrive on February 27, 2026, at 12 A.M. ET, marking the quartet's first group release since Born Pink in 2022. This follows their previous mini albums Square Up in 2018 and Kill This Love in 2019.
The announcement comes amid the group's Deadline World Tour, which shares the album's title and began last year at Seoul's Goyang Stadium. The tour continues with dates in Tokyo on January 16 and Hong Kong on January 24 and 26, concluding on January 26. It represents Blackpink's first performances together since 2023 and their first tour since the Born Pink shows. A highlight was their August 2025 headline at London's Wembley Stadium, where they became the first K-pop girl group to do so and covered the Spice Girls' 1996 hit 'Wannabe' as a tribute.
While no official tracklist has been confirmed, 'Deadline' is widely expected to include 'Jump,' the group's July 2025 comeback single that debuted at No. 1 on two global Billboard charts. 'Jump' was written by TEDDY, Diplo, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, and Jesse Bluu, and produced by Diplo, 24, Boaz Van De Beatz, Zecca, and Ape Drums.
Since Born Pink, the members have pursued solo endeavors. Rosé released her 2024 album Rosie, featuring the Grammy-nominated 'APT.' with Bruno Mars. Lisa dropped Alter Ego in 2025 and took a role in HBO's The White Lotus. Jennie unveiled her debut solo project Ruby in 2025, while Jisoo issued her EP Amortage that same year and continued acting. The group renewed their YG Entertainment contract in 2023, with Lisa affirming in an August 2024 ELLE interview: 'Of course we’re continuing, for sure. We’re so proud of Blackpink, and I love Blackpink. It is not just because of our fans, it’s for ourselves.' No new tour has been announced for the album.
