Brooke Henderson's sister to step away as caddie after LPGA opener

Brooke Henderson's longtime caddie and sister, Brittany Henderson, will relinquish her duties after the upcoming Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions due to her pregnancy. The sisters have shared success on the LPGA Tour, contributing to 13 of Brooke's 14 career victories. Veteran caddie John Killeen will take over the role.

Brooke Henderson, a prominent figure on the LPGA Tour with 14 career victories, will soon part ways with her sister Brittany as her caddie. Brittany, who has been Brooke's looper for most of those wins, is expecting her first child with husband Zach in June. She plans to hand over the bag following next week's season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Florida.

The Henderson sisters' partnership has been a key element of Brooke's success. Together, they have been involved in 13 LPGA wins, with Brittany caddying for all but one. Brittany herself pursued a professional golf career briefly, qualifying as a Monday qualifier for the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic—the site of Brooke's first LPGA victory. She began caddying for her sister the following year in 2016.

Brittany's recent comments highlight the uncertainty ahead. "I’m keeping that in the back of my mind as a hopeful possibility. There are a lot of variables of course, so I couldn’t make any promises right now," she told Sportsnet regarding potential returns for late-season events like the CME Group Tour Championship in November or the Grant Thornton Invitational in December. "I hope to get back to it eventually, I’m just not sure when that will be."

Stepping in for Brittany is experienced caddie John Killeen, who has previously worked with LPGA legends such as Cristie Kerr, Juli Inkster, and Meg Mallon. Brooke's most recent win came on home soil at the CPKC Women’s Open in Mississauga, Ontario, in August, where she posted three strong rounds to claim victory. This transition marks an early change for the 2026 LPGA season, as Henderson prepares for the challenges ahead without her sister's familiar support on the course.
