BTS will attend the 52nd American Music Awards on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, according to an announcement by the organizers. This marks the group's first in-person participation at the ceremony in nearly five years.
The South Korean group has been nominated in three categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer and Best Male K-Pop Artist. BTS made its U.S. television debut at the AMAs in 2017 with a performance of "DNA" and has won 12 AMA trophies to date.
BTS' latest single "Swim," from the album "Arirang," earned a Song of the Summer nomination after just six days of tracking following its March 30 release. Another nominee in the category is "Dracula" (remix) by BLACKPINK's Jennie and Tame Impala.
Performers at this year's show will include K-pop group Katseye, Billy Idol and Riley Green.
