Buses to solve parking chaos at Njupeskär this summer

Dalatrafik is introducing regular bus services to Njupeskär to tackle parking problems at Fulufjällets nationalpark. Visitor pressure has been high since the pandemic year 2020.

During summers the parking at Njupeskär, Sweden's highest waterfall, has been overloaded. At peak times around 1 800 people have visited the site per day.

Dalatrafik is now investing in regular bus services to the area. The decision follows several years of parking chaos at the national park.

The measure is reported by moratidning.se and aims to improve access during the coming summer.
