A new report claims CD Projekt is working on a second multiplayer Witcher title that would be free-to-play and released on PC and mobile devices.
The claim comes from MP1st, whose sources describe the project as a co-op action-RPG set in the year 1230, during a time when Geralt was still a young witcher.
Gameplay is said to involve taking contracts to kill monsters across several environments. A skill-based combat system would let players select abilities from different witcher schools, use Signs and brew potions, while also creating and customising their own characters.
The title is described as separate from the larger Project Sirius, which is planned for PC and consoles. It is also distinct from The Witcher 4 and the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3.
CD Projekt previously partnered with Scopely last year to develop a game in one of its IPs and confirmed in 2024 that it was considering mobile licensing for The Witcher and Cyberpunk franchises. The studio has not commented on the latest report.
