The Greens and the CDU have signed their coalition agreement for the next five years in Stuttgart. Negotiators Cem Özdemir of the Greens and Manuel Hagel of the CDU sealed the more than 160-page document. The parties have governed together since 2016 and are continuing the coalition.

Özdemir presented his Green ministerial team on Monday. Manuel Hagel will serve as interior minister. Other posts go to Danyal Bayaz as finance minister and Thekla Walker as environment minister. Özdemir is scheduled to be elected Kretschmann’s successor in the state parliament on Wednesday.
