An 18-year-old man has been sentenced to one year of youth supervision for a violent robbery in Mora municipality. The crime occurred in March 2025 and the verdict was delivered by Mora District Court.
The man and an unknown perpetrator forced their way into the victim's home. They assaulted him with kicks and punches, causing a concussion, and took his mobile phone. The victim was also threatened with death by knife.
A woman in her 30s who picked up and drove the perpetrators to the scene was sentenced to probation for aiding the robbery. A 35-year-old man was charged with incitement but the charge was dismissed as he had already been convicted of attempted aggravated extortion in the same incident.
The three involved must together pay 227 575 kronor in damages to the victim. The verdict is based on the events from March 2025.
