Delhi self-help groups to make two lakh national flags

The Delhi government will involve self-help groups in producing two lakh national flags for the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign ahead of Independence Day.

The State Urban Livelihood Mission will organise the effort to strengthen livelihoods of the urban poor through skill development and self-employment.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the campaign promotes patriotism, national unity and public participation while creating economic opportunities for self-help groups.

More than 15 lakh national flags will be distributed across Delhi, with additional procurement from online marketplaces to reach every household.
