E-book service down at Malmö libraries after suspected activity

E-book loans at Malmö libraries have been halted since Wednesday. Supplier WeDoBooks detected abnormal traffic and took the service offline for investigation.

City librarian Åsa Sandström said the operation takes the matter very seriously. She stated that unusually many new users were noted in Malmö and other municipalities yesterday. WeDoBooks is examining the activity, which points to influence rather than normal use. Greater clarity is expected tomorrow morning.
