The Ministry of Education has reviewed the implementation of the first six months of the budget year's action plan in collaboration with regional education bureaus and experts. This effort aims to utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning across the education sector, according to Minister Dr. Ayalew Aylate.

"Technology plays a significant role in improving teaching and learning practices," she stated. Furthermore, focused work is underway to ensure technology accessibility in all education levels.

In recent years, efforts have been made to upgrade infrastructure in educational institutions to create better learning environments. This includes expanding basic education through the construction of new schools and increasing opportunities. Improving enrollment practices will boost students' educational intake capacity.

The minister noted that implementing the new education system emphasizes quality in education. Works have been undertaken to reduce teacher shortages and enhance their skills. Over 113,000 teachers received capacity-building training in the past two years.

Remedial education is emphasized to improve student performance. Primary schools are being expanded on a large scale to support underperforming students.
