On Ketit 27, 2018 (Fana Media Corporation), in Addis Ababa, the fourth round accreditation ceremony for Ethiopia's hospitals training for quality program occurred. Health Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba explained that the program, since its start, works to meet community health needs and enhance hospital service delivery.

"The Ethiopian hospitals' training for quality program is useful for improving health service provision," said Dr. Mekdes.

The initiative has fostered strong competition among hospitals, creating a favorable setup to expand public health service access. Nationally, efforts focus on delivering quality care by addressing health gaps, including the establishment of 64 oxygen production facilities.

Deputy Health Minister Dr. Dereje Duguma noted that hospitals must improve their services using new procedures and innovations. In this fourth round, 30 hospitals graduated with high achievements.
