A residential building in Hjärsta has been hit by a fire with heavy smoke development. The fire is now extinguished and emergency services are beginning to leave the scene.
According to the alarm operator at SOS Alarm for Region Bergslagen, the fire involved heavy smoke development at 8:30. The smoke led to smoke diving being initiated.
A roof was sawed open to prevent the fire from spreading. The fire has since been extinguished.
The units are now gradually leaving the area, according to SOS Alarm.
