A residential fire near the Tanah Abang tracks delayed KRL services on the Cikarang-Duri route on Friday morning.
KRL services faced disruption after a fire broke out near Tanah Abang in Central Jakarta. KAI Commuter said firefighting was ongoing and operations would remain suspended until the track was declared safe. Passenger Lenyovia Witandari reported that a train from Kampung Bandan via Manggarai had been held since 06.07 WIB. She usually leaves early to avoid traffic on her way to her office in West Jakarta. Another passenger, Nur, had to request permission from her office in South Jakarta after fearing she would miss the 07.00 WIB start time. KAI Commuter urged users to follow instructions from staff on site.
