Fontaines D.C. mourn death of manager Trevor Dietz

Fontaines D.C. have announced the death of their manager Trevor Dietz on June 7. The band described him as the sixth member and paid tribute to his passion and beliefs. No cause of death has been shared.

Fontaines D.C. shared the news on social media on June 9. They wrote that Dietz had been with them from the start of their journey and called him fearless in his beliefs. Dietz signed the band in 2016 after booking them at The Workman’s Club in Dublin, where he began working in 2010. He guided them from early gigs to major success including festival headline slots. The group asked for privacy for his family during this time. Friends including Kneecap’s Moglai Bap and DJ Annie Mac offered condolences in comments. Fontaines D.C. are scheduled to return to the stage in August for European dates and will headline Reading & Leeds 2026. They have also contributed to the Peaky Blinders soundtrack and a War Child album.
