On Thursday, February 26, 2026, around 10:00 a.m. local time, locals jogging at the Muara Sungai Wos in Banjar Keden, Ketewel Village, Sukawati District, discovered a human head on Ketewel Beach in Gianyar Regency, Bali. The discovery was promptly reported to Sukawati Police Station, prompting a swift response from authorities.

Head of Public Relations at Gianyar Police Resort, Ipda Gusti Ngurah Suardita, confirmed the incident when contacted in Gianyar. "It is true, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, around 10:00 a.m. WITA, human body parts were found at Muara Sungai Wos, Banjar Keden area, Ketewel Village, Sukawati District. It is currently under investigation," he said.

The on-duty team, Forensics team from Gianyar Police Resort, and Bali Provincial Police personnel arrived at the scene to process the crime site. The search expanded to the surrounding beach area, with local residents assisting in the combing efforts. Soon after, the joint team located additional body parts believed to be from the same victim.

The fragments were taken to Sanglah General Hospital Prof. Ngoerah in Denpasar for further autopsy. As of now, police have not identified the victim. "The identity is still under investigation, and currently, the Bali Provincial Police and Gianyar Police Resort teams are continuing the probe," Suardita added. The investigation into this mysterious discovery proceeds.
