Polisi Resor Gianyar menyelidiki temuan potongan tubuh manusia di Pantai Ketewel, Kecamatan Sukawati, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali, pada 26 Februari 2026. Penemuan itu pertama kali dilakukan oleh warga yang sedang jogging, dan kini identitas korban masih dalam penyelidikan.

Pada Kamis, 26 Februari 2026, sekitar pukul 10.00 Wita, warga yang sedang jogging di Muara Sungai Wos, Banjar Keden, Desa Ketewel, Kecamatan Sukawati, menemukan potongan kepala manusia di Pantai Ketewel, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali. Penemuan tersebut segera dilaporkan ke Polsek Sukawati, yang memicu respons cepat dari aparat kepolisian.

Kepala Seksi Humas Polres Gianyar, Ipda Gusti Ngurah Suardita, mengonfirmasi kejadian tersebut saat dihubungi di Gianyar. "Benar, pada Kamis tanggal 26 Februari 2026 sekitar pukul 10.00 Wita telah ditemukan potongan tubuh manusia di Muara Sungai Wos, Wilayah Banjar Keden, Desa Ketewel Kecamatan Sukawati. Saat ini masih diselidiki," katanya.

Tim Piket Fungsi, Tim Inafis Polres Gianyar, dan personel Polda Bali segera tiba di lokasi untuk olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP). Pencarian diperluas ke area sekitar pantai, dengan bantuan warga setempat yang ikut menyisir wilayah tersebut. Tak lama kemudian, tim gabungan menemukan beberapa potongan tubuh tambahan yang diduga bagian dari korban yang sama.

Potongan-potongan tersebut dibawa ke RSUP Sanglah Prof. Ngoerah Denpasar untuk autopsi lebih lanjut. Hingga kini, polisi belum dapat memastikan identitas korban. "Untuk identitas masih dalam penyelidikan, dan saat ini tim Polda Bali dan Polres Gianyar masih dalam proses penyelidikan," tambah Suardita. Penyelidikan terus berlangsung untuk mengungkap asal-usul penemuan misterius ini.
