Kanye West, also known as Ye, announced on March 30 his first UK performances in a decade, headlining all three nights of the Wireless 2026 festival. The shows are set for July 10-12 at London's Finsbury Park. The festival appearance follows the recent release of his album 'Bully'.
Ye will perform a 'three-night journey through Ye’s most iconic records,' according to organizers. A statement highlighted albums including 'The College Dropout', 'Graduation', 'Late Registration', 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' and 'The Life of Pablo', noting how they redefined hip hop and established his legacy. This marks his first London festival headline since Wireless in 2014 and first UK show since a 2015 guest appearance at Koko with artists like Skepta, JME, Vic Mensa and Raekwon. Fresh from 'Bully', released March 27 via YouTube livestream and now on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, Ye also announced a Los Angeles album launch on April 3 and more European headline dates, his first on the continent in 12 years. He shared a music video for 'Father' featuring Travis Scott, and confirmed no AI was used in the album's creation, contradicting his prior statements. The album, first announced two years ago, includes singles like 'Preacher Man', 'Beauty And The Beast', 'Damn' and 'Last Breath' previewed last June. Producer James Blake requested removal from credits, stating the final result was 'not what I created'.Tickets go on presale via PayPal for 48 hours starting March 31 at 12pm BST, with general sale on April 8. Ye's announcement comes amid past controversies, including retracting an apology to the Jewish community in early 2025, briefly declaring himself 'a Nazi' before retracting, and later sharing swastika imagery. He met a rabbi last November to apologize and in January disclosed his bipolar type-1 diagnosis.
