The Corruption Eradication Commission has confirmed it was investigating alleged corruption in the Free Nutritious Meals program at the National Nutrition Agency before the Attorney General's Office named suspects.
Acting Director of Investigation at the KPK Achmad Taufik Husein stated at the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta on Monday 8 June 2026 that the agency had already begun its probe. “Itu sebetulnya kami sudah ada lidik tetapi kemudian APH lain sudah menaikkan prosesnya ke tahap penyidikan,” he said. The KPK will decide next steps through a case review. On 3 June 2026 the Attorney General's Office named Dadan Hindayana Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sanjaya as suspects over alleged markups and appointment of unqualified foundations as Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units.
