The Irish National Showjumping awards took place in Mullingar, drawing competitors from across the country. Among the standout performers was Lily Slattery, a talented 15-year-old equestrian from the village of Knock in County Mayo. Slattery secured the overall championship title while mounted on her horse, Captain Candyman, marking a significant achievement in her young career.

This victory highlights the growing prominence of young athletes in Irish show-jumping circles.
