Mckenna Grace shares excitement over Glenn Close in Hunger Games prequel

At the Dior Addict Sweet Shop party on the Sunset Strip, actress McKenna Grace discussed her role in the upcoming 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.' She described working with Glenn Close as both nerve-racking and fun. Grace also hinted at her involvement in 'Scream 7' while keeping details secret.

The Dior Addict Sweet Shop pop-up event marked the launch of Dior's new Lip Glow Oils and fragrances, featuring candy-themed treats like pink cookies and gumballs. Held on the Sunset Strip, the party drew celebrities including McKenna Grace, who is set to appear as Maysilee Donner in 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,' slated for November release.

Grace spoke candidly about sharing scenes with Glenn Close, who portrays Drusilla Sickle in the prequel. 'Her makeup’s absurd,' Grace said. 'Watching her walk around in these heels that are that tall [Grace spreads her hands about a foot from each other] is crazy every day. Watching her walk on set, especially with our two characters’ relationship, was very nerve-racking but exciting…It’s fun to be yelled at by her.'

The young actress expressed admiration for Close's commanding presence, highlighting the dynamic between their characters. Grace also attended as a fan of Dior products, noting, 'I’m genuinely a fan... The lip oils are my favorite.'

Shifting to another project, Grace addressed her joining the 'Scream 7' cast but remained tight-lipped on her role. 'I’ve seen every single [‘Scream’] so there was no studying that needed to be done for me,' she said. 'I’m a very big fan. I’ve been a big fan for the longest time. I saw the last one in theaters. I love it, but I could say nothing else about it.'

These comments come amid growing anticipation for the Hunger Games prequel, which explores events 24 years before the original trilogy.
