Patriarkh launches European tour in January 2026

Polish black metal band Patriarkh, formerly known as Batushka, is set to begin an extensive European tour later this month. The tour features performances across several countries, starting in Germany. This marks a new chapter for the band following recent legal resolutions.

Patriarkh, the Polish Orthodox black metal project led by Bartłomiej “Варфоломей” Krysiuk, will kick off its European tour on January 14, 2026, in Mörlenbach, Germany, at LIVE MUSIC HALL Weiher. The itinerary includes stops in the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and multiple dates in Poland as part of the HACELE 2026 festival series.

The tour schedule is as follows:
- January 14: Mörlenbach, Germany – LIVE MUSIC HALL Weiher
- January 15: Dordrecht, Netherlands – Bibelot
- January 17: Amstelveen, Netherlands – P60
- January 18: Savigny-Le-Temple, France – L’Empreinte

Later dates in March focus on Poland:

- March 20: Łódź – HACELE 2026

- March 27: Gdynia – HACELE 2026
- March 28: Szczecin – HACELE 2026
- March 29: Poznań – HACELE 2026

Founded in 2018 by Krysiuk, Patriarkh emerged from the original Batushka, which Krzysztof Drabikowski started in 2015. Batushka's debut album, Litourgiya, featured Krysiuk's vocals and gained critical success. A 2018 split led to a legal dispute over the band name, resolved recently when Krysiuk rebranded to Patriarkh.

Now free from litigation, Patriarkh draws on Eastern Orthodox traditions, blending black and doom metal with ominous religious themes. The band, known for concealing identities during performances, has built a global following through albums like Hospodi and constant touring. Fans can purchase tickets via the band's official channels.
