Pertamina and Kemnaker sign MoU to boost workforce competence and K3 safety culture

PT Pertamina (Persero) and Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement in Jakarta on Monday, 22 June 2026.

The memorandum covers synergies in employment programs and human resource utilization. The cooperation agreement focuses on joint training in occupational safety and health.

The MoU was signed by PT Pertamina Human Resources Director Andy Arvianto and Ministry Secretary General Cris Kuntadi. The cooperation agreement was signed by Pertamina Corporate University SVP Robby Rafid, HSSE SVP I Ketut Laba, and Ministry Vocational Training Director General Darmawansyah.

Manpower Minister Yassierli welcomed the partnership and said the ministry is ready to oversee its implementation. Pertamina Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan called the collaboration a strategic move to build superior human resources amid the energy transition.

Pertamina Vice President Director Oki Muraza stressed worker safety. He said all Pertamina Group units must ensure employees depart safely, work safely, and return home safely.
