Peso ganha força frente ao dólar em meio à falta de acordo entre EUA e Irã

O peso mexicano iniciou a semana com um ganho de 0,37% frente ao dólar, apesar da incerteza sobre a falta de acordos entre os Estados Unidos e o Irã.

A moeda local fechou cotada a 17,27 pesos por dólar, de acordo com dados do Banco do México. Isso representou um ganho de 6,36 centavos em relação ao fechamento anterior.

Nas agências bancárias, o dólar foi negociado a 17,72 pesos, segundo o Banamex. O analista Felipe Mendoza, do EBC Financial Group, observou que a ausência de dados de alto impacto forçará o peso a acompanhar as moedas de commodities.

O índice do dólar caiu 0,28%, para 99,19 pontos. Entre outras moedas emergentes, o real brasileiro avançou 1,17%.
