The body was discovered after the household assistant (ART) heard moans of pain from Lula's room around 02:00 WIB early morning, but received no response when knocking on the door in the morning. The door, locked from inside, was eventually opened with security assistance following coordination with family and close friends.
Police from Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan stated there were no signs of violence or assault on the victim's body, based on initial examination at Fatmawati Hospital. "There are no signs of violence. Therefore, yesterday I also informed that no autopsy was performed," said Head of Criminal Investigation AKBP Iskandarsyah on January 26, 2026. The family refused an autopsy to protect privacy, so investigators shifted to a scientific crime investigation approach, including analysis of evidence such as medications and an outpatient letter from Pondok Indah Hospital found at the scene.
