Kate, who received a cancer diagnosis in early 2024 and has now completed her chemotherapy, reflects on the impact of the illness. "Cancer affects so many lives, not only those of the patients, but also the families and friends and caregivers who accompany them," she says. Everyone who knows this path knows it is not straightforward. "There are moments of fear and exhaustion, but also moments of strength, kindness and deep connection.
