Sarah El Haïry announces complaint after threats on legarçon.net

France's High Commissioner for Childhood Sarah El Haïry announced on Saturday she will file a complaint following threats posted on the forum legarçon.net. The threats came days after she reported platforms suspected of child sex abuse facilitation, including the site. She states the intimidation only strengthens her resolve to fight such crimes.

Sarah El Haïry, High Commissioner for Childhood, told Ouest-France she will file a complaint after a threatening message on legarçon.net. Posted Thursday by a user claiming to be a former Élysée employee retired in 2008 under Jacques Chirac, it warns: « Faites attention à vos f... ! », alluding to information on French figures linked to the Epstein affair.

The user also claims intimate relations with adolescents met during travels. On Wednesday, El Haïry had alerted justice about legarçon.net and Chaat.fr, accusing them of connecting « pédocriminels » without age checks.

« Les menaces proférées à mon encontre sur ce site sont inacceptables et ne m'impressionnent pas », Sarah El Haïry responded. She continued: « Ces menaces ne feront que renforcer ma détermination à faire toute la lumière sur ces faits et à traquer, dénoncer et combattre sans relâche la pédocriminalité. »

Legarçon.net describes its male users as having « une affinité particulière pour les ados ou les pré-ados », often with « une attirance sexuelle marquée ». El Haïry calls such statements « d'une gravité extrême » if true.
