Sirius defeats Örgryte 2-0 after Bjerkebo's double

Sirius tops Allsvenskan after a 2-0 win against newcomers Örgryte on Monday evening. Isak Bjerkebo scored both goals and now leads the scoring charts with eight goals.

Sirius has started the season strongly and remains unbeaten after seven rounds. The team leads the table with six wins.

Bjerkebo, 23, scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season. The first came in the first half when he exploited space in the penalty area and shot into the far corner. The second goal arrived in the second half.

– It is really nice, Bjerkebo told SVT Sport. He added that he is proud of his progress and hopes the form continues.

Örgryte has now gone five straight matches without a win. Tobias Sana of Örgryte said Sirius was better at pressing the opponents in the first half.
