Skepta releases EP Más Tiempo Vol. 2 and updates on album Fork And Knife

British rapper Skepta has released a new three-track EP titled Más Tiempo Vol. 2 via his own label. The house-influenced project precedes his summer residency at Hï Ibiza. He also shared that he is adding finishing touches to his upcoming album Fork And Knife.

Skepta dropped the EP Más Tiempo Vol. 2 on Friday, featuring tracks 'Do It SK', 'The Whistle Tune', and 'Play Me Right'. Designed for the dancefloor, the release aligns with his 23-week Saturday residency at the Club Room in Hï Ibiza this summer. It marks his first project since collaborating with Fred Again.. on an EP last year, including 'Victory Lap', which appeared on NME's list of the 50 best songs of 2025. His last full-length album was 2019's Ignorance Is Bliss, which NME awarded four stars, praising its creative energy despite lacking the narrative punch of earlier work like Konnichiwa. Skepta told Esquire UK that 17 tracks are now selected for Fork And Knife. 'A lot of the stuff on there is music I’ve made travelling the world, booking studios here and there when I can. A lot of it has that celebratory energy I get when I’m travelling. Now I’m just adding the finishing touches,' he said. The Tottenham MC described the album's mix of party tracks and deeper content. 'As well as the celebratory music, I want some conscious stuff on there too. Especially right now… I feel like it’s an important time to be saying things and not bringing out an album that’s tone-deaf to the world,' he explained. The title draws from his immigrant family background. 'The whole idea behind “Fork and Knife” is about being a child of immigrants – that simple ambition of wanting to eat well and sit at the table with cutlery. That was the inspiration,' Skepta added. He has bookings at Reading & Leeds Festival and as a Parklife headliner in Manchester this year.
