Isak Hien was injured in the match against Japan and is now leaving the tournament. National team doctor Jonas Werner confirmed that the injury to the back of his left thigh means Hien cannot participate further.
Assistant coach Sebastian Larsson commented on Viktor Gyökeres frustration with the referee. He said the team wants to see an honest and tough battle rather than players diving.
The match against France will be played in New Jersey on Tuesday at 23.00 Swedish time. Coach Graham Potter called it an enormous challenge.
