Stade Toulousain dominated RC Toulon 51-27 on Saturday evening at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille during the 23rd round of Top 14.
Toulouse took control after a competitive first half. Antoine Dupont delivered a standout performance with two decisive passes and a try. Romain Ntamack scored 22 points including a perfect 7 out of 7 from the tee.
Toulouse scored several tries including those by Ntamack, Chocobares and Saito. The defending champions regained confidence after their loss the previous week to Clermont.
For Toulon the playoffs are slipping away. The Varois must target the top 8 to compete in the European Cup next season. Their lineout and attacking play lacked precision.
