Vimmerby Hockey has secured defenseman Nick Bochen for another season in HockeyAllsvenskan. The Canadian player, who impressed after joining last season, will return from Vancouver to bolster the team's defense. Sportchef Pelle Johansson highlighted Bochen's importance to the club's culture.

Nick Bochen emerged as one of Vimmerby Hockey's standout defensemen during the recent season, earning significant trust with his mobile and creative play. The club announced that the Canadian has signed a contract extension, ensuring his presence for the upcoming campaign in Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan league. Currently in his hometown of Vancouver, Bochen is set to rejoin the team next season. This move helps Vimmerby maintain continuity on defense. Bochen paired effectively with Arvid Hurtig this season, and Hurtig is reportedly staying on, according to Expressen. The team also has contracts for Oskar Lindgren and William Alftberg, with Alfred Hjälm having extended his deal. Reports place Visby Roma's Andreas Thelander with Vimmerby next season, partly confirmed by that club's sportchef in local media.
