The Blood of Dawnwalker features a freeform structure that lets players skip everything after the prologue and rush the main vampire boss. Lead quest designer Rafał Jankowski confirmed it's possible to beat the dark fantasy RPG immediately if skilled enough. The game is set for release on 3rd September for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

Games Done Quick will host its first event in Europe at Gamescom, running from August 28 to 30, 2026. The three-day speedrunning showcase, titled Gamescom GDQ, aims to raise funds for Gaming for Democracy. European speedrunners can submit entries starting May 4.
