Universal Pictures has officially titled its Miami Vice reboot Miami Vice ’85, starring Michael B. Jordan as Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs and Austin Butler as James “Sonny” Crockett. Joseph Kosinski directs the film, which will be shot for IMAX and release in theaters on August 6, 2027.
