Anti-corruption secretariat sanctions three companies for fake documents in bids

The Anti-Corruption and Good Government Secretariat, led by Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, fined and banned three companies for submitting fake documents in public procurement processes. Ravisa Autos del Oriente, Gen Industrial, and Escore Alimentos are disqualified for three months from federal government contracts. The penalties aim to safeguard the integrity of public purchases in Mexico.

At the end of 2025, the Anti-Corruption and Good Government Secretariat announced penalties against three companies that falsified documents to secure public contracts in health and economic sectors. These measures, notified on December 31, include financial fines and temporary disqualifications, recorded in the Directory of Sanctioned Providers and Contractors.

The first case involves Ravisa Autos del Oriente, which bid in tender LA-10-LAU-010LAU001-N-77-2025 by the Mexican Geological Service for new double-cab pick-up trucks. The Internal Control Body of the Secretariat of Economy detected a fake fiscal certificate on employer contributions, leading to a fine of 175,367 pesos and a three-month ban.

Gen Industrial was penalized for its proposal in tender LA-12-NBB-012NBB001-N-1-2023, called by the General Hospital “Dr. Manuel Gea González” for hazardous and common waste collection and disposal services. The review uncovered false documentation, resulting in a fine of 157,685 pesos and the same three-month disqualification.

Finally, Escore Alimentos submitted a fake fiscal compliance opinion on social security for tender LA-12-M7F-012M7F002-N-8-2023 from the National Institute of Psychiatry “Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz” for food services. The Secretariat of Health imposed an identical fine of 157,685 pesos and three-month prohibition.

The agency stressed that these actions are grounded in law to protect public interest. “Deceiving to obtain public contracts has consequences,” it stated in its official release. During the disqualification period, the companies cannot participate in new federal procurements, bolstering transparency in Mexican public bidding processes.
