Autistic teen killed in Virginia hit-and-run after missing bus

A 16-year-old autistic boy was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver while walking home from an Arby's in Henrico County, Virginia. The teen had missed the last bus and left his reflective vest at home. Police arrested 41-year-old John Daniel Bruehl on charges of DUI and hit-and-run.

Joshua Driver was walking along West Broad Street late Friday when he was hit, according to his mother Sharon Driver. His body was found in a grassy area on the roadside about three hours later, early Saturday morning. Bruehl allegedly left the scene after the collision.
