Callum Newman of NJPW issued a direct warning to Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley during backstage comments at the G1 Climax 36 show.
Newman addressed the pair after Ospreay aligned with Moxley’s Death Riders faction in AEW, a move that has strained his ties with United Empire in NJPW.
In his message Newman stated: “Will, Moxley, I see what you’re trying to do. You’ve seen all the stuff we’ve been talking about. We’ve been calling you out ever since we set foot on Dynamite. If you don’t want to come to us in Japan, we’ll happily come to you. Don’t think I’m gonna forgive and forget. Billy, I’ll see you soon.”
Ospreay returned to NJPW earlier this year in an attempt to mend relations with Newman. He remains a NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion alongside HENARE and Great-O-Khan.
AEW All In is scheduled for August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, where Ospreay is expected to compete.
