Coordinating Minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra stated the Corruption Eradication Commission does not yet need to take over the alleged corruption case of former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah, now handled by the Attorney General's Office.
Yusril Ihza Mahendra said the KPK can supervise or take over the case if the investigation drags on, involves law enforcement officers, attracts public attention, and involves state losses above Rp1 billion. He stressed that the Attorney General's Office must handle the case professionally and transparently.
Febrie Adriansyah was named a suspect by the National Police on July 11, 2026, for alleged gratification and money laundering. The case was subsequently transferred to the Attorney General's Office.
Yusril hoped the public would monitor the legal process without KPK intervention. He noted that if the investigation stays on track, the Attorney General's Office should be given the chance to complete it.
