Following the initial submission of the 2026 Appropriation Bill, Governor Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri delivered an address to the Adamawa State House of Assembly on December 21, 2025, underscoring the administration's priorities for residents.
A major milestone highlighted was the repayment of more than 50% of the debt inherited by the state, demonstrating improved financial management.
The government also announced empowerment for an additional 100,000 citizens via the Fintiri Business Wallet Programme, run by the Poverty Alleviation Agency, to drive economic recovery and enhance social welfare.
