Deputy PM Temesgen Tiruneh reviews development progress report

Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh began reviewing the third 100-day implementation report for Ethiopia's 2018 budget year with federal institution leaders today. He stated that Ethiopia has continued her renaissance journey through study since the start of internal reforms. The review highlights progress in governance, economy, and diplomacy.

Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh shared his social media message from Addis Ababa on Miyazya 16, 2018 EC, announcing the review of the 2018 budget year's third 100-day report with federal leaders. He described Ethiopia as a large nation facing a significant task, with the current moment offering a chance to shape its new history.

Prior to reforms, government projects bore signs of poverty and backwardness, which have now been broken through discipline and effort, he said. Core developments in corridor projects, national growth initiatives, and Digital Ethiopia have strengthened the country's power and urban services. Through maturing corridors and eliminating underdevelopment, Ethiopia is shifting from dependency chains toward food self-sufficiency.

In diplomacy, Ethiopia has transitioned from an aid recipient to a trade and investment partner, elevating its global standing, according to Tiruneh. He emphasized that today's efforts are for future generations, urging work infused with unity and patriotism to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.
