KT Wiz outfielder Ahn Hyun-min marked his return from a two-month hamstring injury with two RBIs in a 6-2 victory over the Doosan Bears on Tuesday.
Ahn Hyun-min went 1-for-3 with two RBIs in his first game since April 15 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. He tied the score with a groundout in the third inning and added another RBI with a broken-bat single in the fifth.
The Wiz scored four runs in the third, highlighted by Sam Hilliard's two-run homer, to take a 4-1 lead. Starter Ko Young-pyo allowed two runs over six innings despite nine hits.
Ahn said the layoff taught him better exercise habits and body care after shedding 5 kg through diet changes. He credited advice from friend Kim Do-yeong of the Kia Tigers.
