Älvdalen placerar sig på sjätte plats i Unicef-rankning

Älvdalens kommun har nått en sjätteplats i landet enligt Unicefs rankning av bästa platser för barn och unga. Framgången förklaras av satsningar på kultur och hög lärartäthet i skolan.

Älvdalens kommun rankas högst i Dalarna och bland de tio bästa i Sverige när Unicef jämför kommuners ekonomiska investeringar i barn. Kommunen hamnar också på en imponerande sjätteplats nationellt i den bredare rankningen av platser där barn och unga kan växa upp.

Framgången kopplas till medvetna satsningar på kultur och en hög lärartäthet i skolorna. En av Dalarnas mindre kommuner presterar därmed bättre än flera större kommuner i länet.
