Andhra Pradesh to implement paperless governance from January 15

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a shift to fully paperless administration effective from January 15. Under this plan, all government files will be handled digitally, replacing traditional paper-based processes with e-files. This move aims to modernize governance through technology.

Citizens and officials will access services online, particularly through the Manamitra WhatsApp interface, enabling convenient WhatsApp-based governance. The AP DigiVerify system will support secure digital verification and processing.

This paperless transition is part of broader digital efforts in the state, focusing on efficiency in administrative functions. The announcement highlights January as a key starting point for these changes in Andhra Pradesh.
