Bas uppmanar arbetsmarknadens parter att återuppta samtalen om arbetstid

Arbetsmarknadsminister Bärbel Bas har uppmanat fackföreningar och arbetsgivare att återuppta samtalen om en reformering av arbetstiderna. Hon tillkännagav detta vid DGB:s förbundskongress.

Bas talade inför cirka 400 delegater i Berlin. Hon påpekade att SPD i koalitionsavtalet kommit överens om att ersätta den dagliga maximala arbetstiden med en maximal veckoarbetstid. Den avbrutna dialogen mellan arbetsmarknadens parter bör nu återupptas.

Ministern sa ordagrant: ”Om det vore upp till SPD och mig personligen skulle vi inte röra frågan om arbetstid alls – men det står i koalitionsavtalet.” Hon vill inte lämna något oprövat för att uppnå enighet.

Bas hade ursprungligen aviserat ett lagförslag till slutet av juni. DGB:s huvudkrav kvarstår: ”Rör inte åttatimmarsdagen.”
